WMS bundle Upgrade: Why do the assigned permissions of the Custom Warehouse Roles got Removed?
Upon upgrade of the Oracle NetSuite WMS bundle, users may notice that Custom Warehouse roles cannot access the Shipping, Receiving and RF menu options.
Note that this usually happens for Custom Roles that are created by Making a copy of the Standard Warehouse roles provided by the bundle.
As per the Setup Guide of this bundle, NetSuite WMS includes Standard Roles with associated default centers and permissions. Any customizations made to the standard WMS roles are overwritten when the NetSuite WMS account is upgraded to a newer version. In a nutshell, upon upgrade, the bundle considers the copied role as part of it bundle, hence it will be overwritten to the default setup.
