Duplicate State Sales Tax Accounts Being Created - US

Hello,

I am noticing that we do not have all states in our US state tax tables in NetSuite. I go to add them as a Nexus, and as expected, the Tax Control Account is created for that state. However, they are appended with a [1].

After noticing this, I went to our chart of accounts and sure enough, there were already Sales Taxes Payable accounts for these states. I'm confused why they weren't listed as a nexus already, and even when I go select the Tax Account for the state tax type, I only see the new account that was created. I checked inactive nexuses as well but couldn't find any.
