NSC| Custom Roles to view Records for Subsidiaries to which the Role is not granted access?

edited Jan 19, 2023 12:21AM in Accounting / ERP

Custom roles can have the ability to view other subsidiary records that the role does not have access. For example, a custom role only has access to a single subsidiary and wants to view the records of other subsidiary without having the ability to edit these records. To do this, an Administrator must grant Allow Cross-Subsidiary Record Viewing to the role, below are the steps on how to do this:

  1. Navigate to Set Up > Users/Roles > Manage Roles
  2. Edit Custom Role
  3. Under the Subsidiary Restriction section check Allow Cross-Subsidiary Record Viewing

4. Save the Role

Hope this helps!
