NSC | Accounts used for the Payments
Currently the system is set to use only few specific Types of the accounts for the payments. You will be able to select for example: Bank, Expenses, Liabilities but not all types of the accounts.
Doesn’t matter if you are processing payments for Customers or Vendors.
We do have created the Enhancement requests for this functionality. In case you are facing the same issue, just vote for the Enhancement through SuiteIdeas to increase its points and have it possibly included on NetSuite’s future releases.
Customer Payments:
Enhancement # 107565 - Accept customer payments/Cash Sale>>ability to set deposit to account to accounts other than 'bank' type.
