Please note that on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 8:00 PM Pacific time, our Case Management System will undergo a scheduled maintenance for approximately 4 hours. During this time, case creation via SuiteAnswers will be unavailable and inbound calls will be routed to Customer Service.
Warranty / Case Management
Creating Cases multiple ways. Manually in NetSuite, from Case web form, etc.
But using the Warranty management.
The process right now is a Case is created, but it might not be related to an existing Warranty registration, and therefore not need a Warranty Claim created.
But after the Case is created, it is determined that this case should really be a Warranty Claim.
The question is there a way to change the standard Claim, into a Warranty Claim.
Just changing the form version does not seem to work. The standard Case form, does not have the Warranty registration fields, and changing the form does not seem to add them. Customizing the form, to add the fields does not seem to work either.
