Show Custom Transaction Line Field in an Income Statement Detail Report as a column

edited Jan 2, 2023 2:45PM in NetSuite Admin Corner

User is using a custom Transaction Line field to identify the transaction item's region:

Their management wants to show this field as a column in the Income Statement Details.

To be able to do this, users need to:

1.) Navigate to Reports > Financial > Income Statement > Detail

2.) Click Customize

3.) Go to Edit Columns section

4.) Add the line field either:

A.) Add Fields > Financial folder > Custom Transaction Line Field (Custom Column)

B.) Add Fields > Financial folder > Custom Transaction Line Field subfolder > Name

5.) Save and run the report

Both methods should show the same result of adding the custom transaction line field

Howdy, Stranger!
