Advanced Revenue Management - Fair Values Not Working

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:28PM in Ask A Guru 7 comments

Hello Gurus!

I have a scenario please:

For my ARM fair value allocation of revenue, I need to choose different fair values (FV) for the same item. These different values will be driven by custom segments. Below is how I approached it.

  • Created custom segments and populated them with needed values.
  • Put the segments into FV Dimensions Page
  • For same item, created different base FV for each combination of item + segment. Eg, for the same icecream item, I created 2 FV price records, one for icecream sold to US customers, and one for icecream sold to Europe customers.
  • Customized the Sales Order form to put the above segment in the header level of SO. The thinking here is that NS will use, based on this segment+item the correct FV from FV price record and use it in the FV formula.

Howdy, Stranger!
