NetSuite Admin Tip: Bin Numbers on Item Receipts
There are times when users would forget to enter Bin Numbers on Item Receipts. When this happens, you would need to create a separate transaction called Bin Putaway Worksheet in order to put these Items into their respective Bins.
If this is not part of your regular business process, then it is an additional task that you may want to avoid doing. It is also one of the most common reasons for mismatches in the Bin Quantity and Location Quantity in Item Records.
The logical solution for this is to make the Bin Number field mandatory on Item Receipts. However, this is still a system limitation and is logged under Enhancement #
