Chart Of Account Format

We are a Real Estate Company and we have recently implemented Oracle Netsuite. We have imported COA from our previous system where we didn't have the functionality to use one expense Account for all buildings but netsuite have the functionality to allocate expenses from one account through using building and Sub unit Field. Now we don't want to expand our COA which may lead us to posting errors. Which may be better for reporting?.
