A/R transactions are locked in Manage Accounting Periods for some reason

A/R transactions are locked in Manage Accounting Periods for some reason.

Moreover, this automatically locks in future dates.

I don't remember locking it, so it is locked by itself, is this due to some setting?

If you know the cause, please let me know.
