How Can I Create A Meaningful Forecast Report For "Delivery" Type Items in ARM?

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:31PM in Ask A Guru 3 comments

Hello Gurus! :)

I have a question related to Advanced Revenue Management's reports please.

Sceanario: For "delivery items" (items to be delivered) the setup is such that revenue plans are created upon delivery (and not revenue arrangement creation). These items will have (let's call it delivery) "delivery" rules, where rev rec start and end dates are event dates (delivery date).

Usually, if we want to see a forecast for such items, since there will not be any plan created until delivery, we must use a different rule so that forecast revenue plan is created immediately upon revenue arrangement. So, we can use an "over time" type of rule, where we set rev rec start and end dates to revenue element start and end dates in SO, and we can make sure to use the estimated delivery month dates.

Howdy, Stranger!
