How to customize Profit and Loss report to compare last fy periods?
Hi,
When customising a profit and loss report,
I want to see the results from the start of the financial year to the current month i.e. year to date figures - for current year, budget and prior year.
I have configured the report to show this - but I am having problems with the period range for the prior year and budget.
When I edit columns and choose alternative period range type "relative to report date" and then "this / last fiscal year to period", the period that is brought up is the start month of the financial year only i.e. April. However, if I run the report from July to October, the the current year results show from July to October, but the comparative budget and prior year results show from April to July. It's as though the date linking to the relative to report date is linking to the from month rather than the to month in the report selection
