How to make a Contact mandatory to create a Customer?

edited Jan 11, 2023 7:58PM in Ask A Guru 7 comments

Hi everyone,

Does anybody know how to make a contact required in order to create a customer? I was taking an approach similar to that of making an address required by marking the Never Empty box on the contact sublist just as I did with the address.

This works great when first creating the customer, but then when I edit the record, it returns the warning/error that I cannot save the record because I must enter at least one value for sublist contacts.

I can't figure out why this functions differently than the address. Once I have created an address I can save my record and have no issues/receive no additional warning when I edit the customer.
