How GRNI FX Differences (Vendor Bill Variances) are recorded in Multi Book?

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:33PM in Ask A Guru 3 comments

Hi Netsuite Guru,

We have recently migrated to Netsuite. We use the multi-book system in Netsuite. Our primary currency being GBP and our secondary is USD.

After our first full year of operation on Netsuite we noticed that when we reconcile our GRNI account and post vendor bill variances it doesn't always post to our secondary book (USD). We understand that supplier invoices in USD wont have a FX diff to post so does that mean that the Primary and Secondary book wont always reconcile exactly due to these FX differences?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Howdy, Stranger!
