Why Don't My COA Accounts from Asset Type Always Transfer to Individual Assets?

Hi Gurus!

Scenario:

I created asset types and set them up with COA accounts. Some types carried over their COA accounts to individual assets when I imported the assets and assigned the asset types to them. However, some did not and when I got an error when generating depreciation and that is how I found out individual assets did not have COA accounts in them.

Question:

Is there any known reason why certain types carried their COA accounts to individual assets and some did not?
