How to create Formula to get earliest open period on transaction search nonpposting transactions?
We need to use CASE WHEN formula when posting period is Null (in case of unposted transactions), it will display the earliest open period,
I can use:
CASE WHEN {approvalstatus}='Pending Approval' then (to_char({today}, 'Mon YYYY')) else {postingperiod} end
However it will only display period based on today's date not necessarily the earliest open period. Is there a specific field we can use? I'm curious about your thoughts on this.
