Does ARM Treat "ANY" Change in Source Doc Similarly?
Hi, Gurus!
I have a question based on ARM's end date change treatment.
We know that ARM, by way of rev rec rule specification, can treat "end date change" in 2 ways - update remaining periods only or update all periods.
Remaining periods only - remaining rev rec amount is divided by the total new number of remaining periods.
All periods - rev rec amount is divided by all periods, and for prior/closed periods the change is recorded in the current period as a cumulative adjustment, and then the newly calculated rev rec amount is applied to remaining periods.
