Good day all. I need the wisdom of the community.
We use group items to "package" inventory items with additional non-inventory or service items (i.e. Tariff Cost or Storage Fees). Separately, we have a custom field of "revision" that we have used in inventory items for some time, but need to extend this field to the associated non-inventory and service items when they are in a group. I'm working on a exception report to show me when the Revision field on the group doesn't match ALL of the Revision fields of the member items.
The image below is just the groups and member items. No error criteria is in please to show the base data and I've deliberately chosen examples with no mismatch (and this list is a lot longer).
In trying to show where revisions don't' match, I came up with this formula:
Case When {custitem_eqi_revision} = {memberitem.custitem_eqi_revision} then 1 else 0 end
The issue is it eliminates those member items from the SS that DO match the group. Notice, in the image below the inventory item is missing from both examples (and these are different groups than shown above).
With the proper criteria in place (what I'm looking for) I would want to see this.
The first group is erroneous because of the missing revision (highlighted in yellow) on the member item tariff. The second group would be in error because the tariff revision is wrong. Also note (not shown) but I would want to see if the inventory item mismatched the group revision too. The group revision isn't necessarily the "field of truth", I just want to know when the Group Item and its Member Item's Revisions don't match. Any insight would be great.
