How to update field Fixed Asset Write in Journal (Deprecated)
Hi,
After generating a fixed asset, we wanted to change its depreciation schedule.
So we uploaded the revised depreciation schedule via CSV file. It was successful, and monthly depreciation amount was posted correctly as expected.
When we checked depreciation histories, tab "System Notes", the field "Write in Journal (Deprecated)" was set to "F" from null via CSV, but there was no "Write In Journal (Deprecated)" field in my CSV file, and no mapping for this field when uploaded.
We have built a Monthly Depreciation Report (saved search) for forecast purpose. And this field "Write in Journal" is set to null to ensure the report shows the correct depreciation amount (tally with standard reports, eg. Asset Register or Fixed Assets Listing...).
