Employee record > Effect of removing of Login Access

If we remove an authorized user from our netsuite account, does that have any effect at all on the employee record in netsuite? We haven't had to do this before.

For example, if we remove a sales rep as a user of netsuite, will that have any effect on them as a contact or active employee or in sales orders they are listed as sales rep for?
