NSC | How to create a Customers List based on their Last Name?

edited Jan 10, 2024 8:00PM in Accounting / ERP

In cases where Users would like to create a Customer List based on Customer’s Last Name specifically the first letter, they can create a Saved Search.

While it is true that we can use the Last Name field, it is not convenient to use since we have to manually input it one by one. Instead of this field, users can use a Formula (Text) Criteria Filter to expose the Customer’s Last Name.

Here are the steps to take:

1. Navigate to Reports > Saved Searches > All Saved Searches > New

2. Search Type: Select Customers

3. Title: Enter Name

4. Click Criteria > Standard

5. Add the following filters:

Howdy, Stranger!
