Can someone edit the Events record created by someone else?
There seems to be conflicting information in SuiteAnswers:
Allow Users to Edit Events Organized by Others (custhelp.com)
This states that an employee who is an attendee on an Event should be able to edit it (based on the permissions given in the article).
From my testing, this doesn't work.
This answer (written the next day!)
Allow Attendee to Edit Calendar Event (custhelp.com)
States that this is an enhancement, and the only way to grant this permission is via Core Admin permission (which is clearly not a good workaround).
From my testing, I agree with the second article - this only works with Core Admin permissions, is that correct??
