How to access terminated Employee profiles?

Hello one and all. Our company is new to NetSuite (10 months) and I'm the Payroll Manager. I hope this isn't a dumb question, but I couldn't find an answer in SuiteAnswers. How do I access terminated employees profiles? When I search for a name of one of the terminated employees in the Global Search bar, nothing comes up.
