Financial reports showing Parent Location and SubLocation combined
Please comment on or confirm if the behavior described below is as expected?
Case where: Parent Location and Sub Location is = California (Parent) and Sub Location = Southern California
Custom Income Statement and Balance Sheet created with Location Footer Filters have both California and Sub Location Southern California show in dropdown list to select
When selecting only parent location California, expectation was data displayed would include Sub Location Southern California transactions on Income Statement and Balance Sheet. However, it appears that ONLY parent location California transactions are included?
To show combined Parent / Child location transactions in financials (or other report types) is it then necessary to select both Parent = California and Sub Location Southern California in Location footer filter? That is, reports selected by Location do not recognize the Parent/Child location relationship, and therefore do not automatically include Child location transactions when selecting Parent location?
