Can I display ONLY parent departments in Income Statement?

Hello Gurus! :)

I tried to play with the Income Statement, but no matter what I do, NS presents either a child department only, or the entire hierarchy for parent-child relationship.

Question: Is it possible to present only parent departments across the report as columns?

So, if I have Sales Total Dep (Parent) and Sales Store A (child) and Sales Store B (child), I want to have an income line item and then a Sales Total Dep column. I do not want to see children department at ll.
