WMS Bin transfer You only have x available. Please enter a different Quantity.

edited Jun 2, 2025 2:40PM in Ask A Guru 2 comments

In the WMS Mobile app attempting to Bin Transfer, certain items are receiving an error when we try to enter the "To Bin". So far we've only noticed this with items that have UOM conversions. Making the same bin transfer in the UI works, so it does appear to be related to the app rather than any item settings.

Note in the attached screenshot it says "You only have 12.5..." but I have entered 5 as the quantity to transfer.

EDIT: Adding some additional information. This item has a Base Unit of Linear Inch. The stock unit is 100 Ft Roll with a conversion factor of 1200. I kept reducing the Quantity to transfer and finally got it to post a transfer when I entered "1 Linear Inch". However, the Bin Transfer record created shows that 0.996 * 100 Ft Roll (or 1,195.2 linear inches) was transferred, and this is reflected in the Inventory Details of the item record.

Howdy, Stranger!
