FEC France Localization compliance issues
Hello all,
Does anyone had any compliance issues with the FEC files generated from the new feature France Localization, in particular with the field EcritureLib ?
Based on Netsuite settings, the content for this field is different depending on the source of the transactions: for all entries types except Journal entry, the content is: TYPE OF TRANSACTIONS and DOCUMENT NUMBER. Before, the content was the MAIN MEMO of the entry. For an entry type JOURNAL ENTRY the content is the memo of the entry (main memo).
According to Netsuite support, these settings complies with the France Tax Authority regulations, but we had a tax audit from the French tax administration and the information they found on the Ecriture Lib field did not comply with their regulations. The EcritureLib field must contain "the literal identification of the reason for the accounting entry", that why the information from the MAIN MEMO field should be the source of this field, as it was before for all transactions types.
