FAM Asset change in asset lives

Hello, I need to change several assets lives to a shorter life and true up depreciation,AD and NBV. I read up on the Revalue asset feature, but I don't think this is where I can do this.

I also did an edit to the FAM asset, but of course it did not generate a true up entry.

What are the correct steps to update the asset life and have a true up JE post?
