Landed Cost by Weight: How is this calculated?
Hi
I have a PO with 2 items. The quantity ordered of each item is 1 each.
Item A: Ordered 1. Receipted 1. Item weight (per the item record): 300g
Item B: Ordered 1. Receipted 1. Item weight (per the item record): 400g
On the item receipt, I have entered the following on the landed cost subtab.
I would expect the $100 landed cost should be allocated in the proportion:
Item A: 300g/(300g+400g) x $100= $42.86
Item B: 400g/(300g+400g) x $100=$57.14
However, the actual amount allocated is:
Where are those figures coming from?
Is this using the per base unit weight ?
For item A, the base unit is Each.
