Asset Showing as Written Off but still Showing Status as 'Depreciating'
I have an asset that I accidentally started writing off a few months ago and then I cancelled the write off. Under the 'Asset Sale/Disposal' tab the 'Disposal Type' is showing as 'Write-off'. However the asset status is still showing as 'Depreciating'........however no depreciation has been posted for the asset since.
No disposal entries were posted for the asset, so it is kind of in limbo. I would delete the asset and start again but it has journals attached to it so I can't. I have tried to dispose of it, but it is saying the disposal quantity must be 1, but it is greyed out as 0, so there is nothing to dispose.
