Using Segmentation with COA and timekeeping.
We are in the process of implementing and have created a fairly complex COA because we need to be GAAP compliant as well as being able to do reporting for DCAA (government contractor here). I am trying to determine if our COA makes sense or if we should be using the built in segmentation ( Class, Department, Location) to accomplish what we need to. We are planning to use Netsuite Timesheets and are working with a provider that has a solution to help with the DCAA stuff. It just seems to complex.
We have our segments set up like this
Departments = Business Unit
