Populating Custom Entity Field with Vendor number Only

Hi everyone,

I'm encountering an issue while attempting to populate a custom entity field, namely the "Vendor #" field. My goal is to display only the vendor ID without the company name attached. For example, I want the field to show "S000744" instead of the combination of the vendor number and company name.

Here's what I've done so far:

  1. I created a custom entity field called "Vendor #".
  2. I configured the source list to "Company" and the source from to "Name/ID".
  3. I've tried toggling the stored value on and off.

Unfortunately, the field isn't being populated as expected.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance or insights on resolving this issue.
