NSC | Fixed Assets > No Depreciation History is generated
The Depreciation History Record is a detailed log that tracks the depreciation of a fixed asset over its useful life.
If this is not generated, the possible reason may be because there was an incorrect setup on the Asset record.
The following fields must be checked:
- Asset lifetime
- Depreciation Method
- Depreciation Start Date
- Depreciation End Date
- Last Depreciation Period
- Last Depreciation Date
- Target Depreciation Date
- Depreciation Active
Check the following fields and then Update the Depreciation History Record, navigate to Fixed Assets > Set up > System Setup and click on the Precompute Depreciation Values:
