NSC | How To Restrict Vendor Bills List to Custom Role?

Scenario: User would like to restrict the Vendor Bill list of a Custom Role in a specific Department.

When a custom Employee role navigate to the List and set the page as follows, they are able to access the full list of all Vendor Bills:

  • View = Default
  • Type = Bill
  • Employee = - All -
  • Status = - All -
  • Style = Normal

To resolve this, here are the steps we may follow:

  1. Using your Administrator role, navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles
  2. Edit the Custom Role
  3. Under Searches > Standard, we add the following:
    1. Type = Transaction
    2. List View = My Transcations
    3. Restricted = Yes
  4. Click Save
