Saved search won't display amended custom body field value.

I have created a transaction body field, Free-Form Text and applied this to Purchase, Journal, Item receipts… a code (text) was populated on the PO, which then pulled through onto the item receipt and then the invoice. The text was then updated on all 3 forms and the forms show the correct text. However, I have written a saved search, which displays the custom field, along with the document number, date…this shows the old text and not the updated one. Why is this and how can I fix it?
