Has NetSuite addressed the sales tax on invoices for origin based tax states?
NetSuites sales tax seems to be based on ship to unless the tax item is listed which appears to override the ship to. Even caused us to invoice tax to a state we do not have Nexus in.
However, there are a handful of origin-based sales tax states. Illinois is one of them. So how can we get the system to do both? Charge sales tax in Illinois from where the product is coming from (our corp office) and also charge our Illinois BILL TO customers with locations out of state that out of state tax rate?
We are not using a 3rd party tax software but NetSuite. NetSuite tax is NOT checked in the setup.
