Error whilst entering timesheet Line Not Added. Validation is in progress. Please try later.

The error message pops up on an ad hoc basis when a weekly timesheet is being entered. Once this error pops up the Weekly Timesheet form is frozen until the page is refreshed and the data entered prior to the error message is lost. Not clear what causes this. Is this a known issue?
