Intercompany Elimination Journals

I would like assistance with the intercompany elimination. According to Suite Answers, it is the forex variance btwn subsidiaries that gets posted to the CTA. However ours is doing the forex as well as eliminating the cogs of shipments to our subsidiary. Is this right?

I need to run it for Jan - May 14th as we turned on intercompany this year starting May 15 and want to make sure I post the manual journal correctly.
