NSC | Is It Possible to Get Average Cost for All Locations?
Scenario:
The user wants to know if there's a way to view or calculate the average cost of an item across all locations in NetSuite—particularly useful for reporting or understanding consolidated inventory value.
Solution:
The Average Cost is location-specific by design. This means the system calculates and tracks the average cost independently per location, based on the transactions (e.g., purchases, adjustments, transfers) that occur in each one.
There is no native field that shows the overall or consolidated average cost of an item across all locations.
