Enabling GST Taxes on Transfer Order with SuiteScript

edited Aug 21, 2025 1:52PM in Ask A Guru 3 comments

Client is in India and have NetSuite SuiteSuccess Premium with
SuiteTax India Localisation is enabled (NetSuite India SuiteTax Engine SS2)
and also enabled eInvoicing with ClearTax.

Client had warehouse in same state and was using Transfer Order & Fulfillment Cycle.
Now they have opened warehouses in other state and raising a issue of Tax Compliance.
And asking us to apply GST Taxes on Interstate Transfer & Generate Transfer Invoice with Taxes.

As per NetSuite we suggested workaround to use Intercompany Transfer Order & Fullfillment,
but it is not acceptable.

So requesting guidance on a way to enable India taxes on Transfer Order with a suitescript? as all the required fields for tax computation are available on India standard Transfer Order Form

Howdy, Stranger!
