Thank you to everyone for your passion, collaboration, and support. Here’s to building an even stronger community together in the year ahead!
Season’s greetings to you and yours! As we head into the holidays (December 24 – January 4), we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strength and collaboration within our community. Even during the break, you can continue to benefit from connecting with peers, searching related threads, posting your questions, and marking helpful replies as “Accepted” in the Support Community.
Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

NSC | Saved Search Cost Column Incorrectly Matching Total Cost Due to Summary Type Setting
Scenario:
In your Saved Search, the Cost column is showing the same value as the Total Cost column. This raises concern because these fields are meant to represent different metrics:
- Cost should reflect the average cost per item.
- Total Cost should represent the average cost multiplied by quantity.
Solution:
After reviewing the Saved Search configuration, we determined that the issue was caused by the summary type applied to the Cost field.
The Item: Average Cost field was set to use the Sum summary type. This caused the saved search to aggregate costs in a way that made the Cost column reflect a total value, not the intended per-unit average.
