Real Time Ordering vs After Transaction -- WO Cost Accounting Help

Hi Everyone,

We are having some serious cost accounting issues using NetSuite's native After Transaction Costing.

Our BOMs often include subassemblies that are pulled from Stock.
Our production runs as such that items are constantly being issued, completed, fulfilled all while transactions remain process.

For example, in the first WO Issue, we might consume 50% of the required materials to start production. Then, we begin entering WO Completions—one per unit—to produce quantity 1 at a time.

We may issue additional materials in between and continue producing.

Also, after the initial 50% material issue, we might not have finished producing all units associated with that issue. Some of those completed units could even be consumed by a higher-level assembly.

Howdy, Stranger!
