Once you install the Grant Management SuiteApp in NetSuite as discussed on New to NetSuite | Introduction to Grant Management Part I, you are ready to begin setting up your grant management environment. The first steps involve configuring your grant management preferences, assigning appropriate roles and permissions to your team, and setting up related records to fit your organization’s needs.
Setup Related Records
After installation, you’ll need to set up related records. This is a simple process in NetSuite:
- Go to Grant Management > Grant Management Preference
- Set up related record types such as Expenses, Grant Orders, Grants, and Opportunities, ensuring each is linked to the appropriate dataset
