What is Community Whiz of the Quarter?
Community Whiz of the Quarter is a member engagement program of the NetSuite Support Community that rewards NetSuite Support Community members for their active participation and correct answers to NetSuite product related quizzes.
The members who get the highest number of accumulated points during each calendar quarter (January – March, April – June, July September, October – December) will be given points, a Community Badge, Community Kudos (a digital commendation), and Oracle Branded Merchandise, subject to the requirements below.
This program runs from July 2025 to December 2025.
Eligibility
- Community Whiz of the Quarter is not available to NetSuite Support Community members who are Public Sector Entities. For purposes of this program, Public Sector Entities also include national, state, provincial, or local government organizations, and any of their divisions, departments, agencies, branches, or ministries, whether executive, administrative, legislative, or judicial. Public Sector Entities additionally include political parties, political organizations, and any public foundations, public organizations, or NGOs, such as the International Red Cross, United Nations, and the World Bank. As a result, Public Sector Employees & Officials include employees of these entities, even if temporarily employed or uncompensated; officials of these entities (no matter how appointed); any private person acting on their behalf, even if temporarily or without compensation, including those hired to prepare a request for proposal or an invitation for bids, or to review and/or accept bids; and any candidates for political office.
An entity also is a Public Sector Entity (and so its employees and officials would be deemed to be Public Sector Employees or Officials) if (1) it is controlled by a government or (2) it performs a function the local government treats as its own.
1.An entity is controlled by a government if any of the following factors apply:
- The government owns 30% or more of the entity;
- The government has voting control or the ability to appoint officers or directors;
- The government has formally identified the entity as a government agency or state-owned enterprise;
- The entity is financed through government appropriations, tax revenue, licenses, fees, or royalties;
- The entity’s profits are paid or go directly to the government;
- The government subsidizes the entity’s costs of providing services; OR
- The entity is funded by the government in the event it fails to “break even.”
2.An entity performs a government function if any of the following factors apply:
- The government designates the entity as performing a governmental function or otherwise clearly recognizes that the entity is performing a function expressed in the government’s policies;
- The public generally perceives the entity to be performing a governmental function;
- The entity has a monopoly over the function it carries out, or exclusive power to administer the function it carries out;
- Employees of the entity are considered locally to be public officials or civil servants; OR
- The entity provides services, which the local government treats as its own, to the public at large, such as:
- Public medical/healthcare or life-science services
- National defense / aerospace
- Public educational services
- Public transportation
- National banking or financial services
- National utility or infrastructure services (e.g., telecommunications, gas, electric, water, sewage)
- State media (e.g., broadcast, print
- Energy exploration, extraction, and development (including oil and gas)
- In addition, this program is not available to NetSuite Community members who are private (non-public sector) healthcare entities in the Health Industry and Organizations companies. Healthorganizations include healthcare providers (e.g., hospitals, academic medical centers, clinics, medical practices, including dental, therapy, chiropractic, and other services), and health insurers. Some healthcare organizations may be an exception as neither government affiliated nor subject to the Anti-Kickback Statute if they do not receive government reimbursements.
- Any company or national from Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, the Crimea region, Ukraine's Donbas, and other Russian-controlled areas of Ukraine, as they exist in fact, Belarus, Russia, Venezuela, and any other country under US sanction listed in this site are not eligible to participate in this program nor receive merchandise.
- The NetSuite Support Community Team reserves the right to verify the eligibility of winner based on these criteria.
- Oracle employees and their family members are not eligible to participate
How to be a Community Whiz of the Quarter?
- A Community Whiz is a NetSuite Support Community member who actively engages and provides correct answers in Community Quizzes. The Community Quiz consists of two types:
- Weekly Quiz - regularly posted every Wednesday
- Pop Quiz - posted randomly at any time during the week
- The member who accumulates the highest number of points in the calendar quarter will be the Community Whiz of the Quarter.
- NetSuite Support Community Team will post a question under the Community Whiz Page. Here are the rules:
- Member can participate by commenting the answer;
- Follow the answer format indicated in the quiz;
- Member can only win once, regardless of the number of accounts the member has in the NetSuite Support Community;
- Multiple comments are allowed, but only the first comment will be treated as the member’s answer; and
- Edited answers are considered invalid.

Points are used to identify the Community Whiz winner and do not hold any cash value and cannot be exchanged for product or services.
Oracle Branded Merchandise Reward.
- The first three (3) SuiteMasters of the Quarter with the shortest average time of challenge completion will be eligible to receive the Oracle NetSuite merchandise.
- Merchandise may vary and depend on the shipping country of the winner. NetSuite Support Community Team reserves the right to determine merchandise to be awarded.
- Winners must fill out a secured form to share their contact and shipping information in order to receive merchandise.
- Winners may not receive prizes valued at greater than $100 (USD) from other Oracle or Oracle-NetSuite programs within the preceding six (6) months
- Participants in other Oracle rewards, credit programs, or ACE program may not be eligible to participate and receive merchandise.
- Winners that are not eligible to receive merchandise due to the following will be awarded with Community badges, points, and Community Kudos .
- There are shipping restrictions in the country of the winner;
- NetSuite Support Community Member already received the merchandise using another account/user profile.
This promotion is open to registered NetSuite users who are 18 years or older, with merchandise prizes available for eligible participants. Participants who are public sector employees, Oracle employees or their family members, as well as NetSuite Support Community members residing in certain countries where merchandise cannot be shipped or individuals participating in similar programs owned by Oracle are not eligible to receive the merchandise. Winners are not allowed to receive prizes valued at greater than $100 (USD) from Oracle-NetSuite during the preceding six (6) months. Prizes will be shipped to a One-Time Shipping Address provided by the participant. By accepting a merchandise prize, the winner confirms that its receipt is not in breach of their company's policy. This program runs from July 2025 to December 2025.
