In this article, we will focus on one specific and powerful permission within this category: Track Time
What is a Track Time Permission?
In NetSuite, the Track Time permission allows users to enter and manage their own time entries in the system, typically for project tracking, billing, or payroll purposes.
An administrator must enable the Time Tracking features and set time tracking preferences.
Navigate to Setup > Company > Enable Features > Employees subtab > Time & Expenses > Time Tracking
