Tracking Component Warranties Within an Assembly
We use Warranty and Repairs Management & BOM, where an assembly item consists of multiple components, each with its own warranty terms. For example:
- Component A: 7-year limited warranty
- Component B: 1-year limited warranty
If we perform a warranty service on the assembly and ship it back to the customer, does NetSuite allow us to track and maintain the original warranty terms for each component? Additionally, do the warranty periods reset, or do they continue from the original purchase date?
And also , can we track Warranty Details for Components Within an Assembly items?
