Of course, I spoke with an Engineer, our resident email expert, for accuracy... One of the important advances that DKIM provides is the ability to de-couple identity from the sending domain, specifically to benefit smaller organizations that use third-party email sending entities like NetSuite. It allows the Reputation of…

DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) is a new standard that many receiving mail clients are still actively implementing. NetSuite is ahead of the curve on this one and you'll see the industry focus largely on it in the very near future. The plus for you... authenticated mail can benefit from speedier and more reliable…

Sorry about that. Are you referring to the TXT file containing the public key? You need to publish the public key to your DNS. There's a good thread about that topic here. Nothing more is required. June

A spammer can use sales@microsoft.com as their 'From' address, but what they can't do is publish a public key to microsoft.com's DNS. The DKIM signature on emails they send will always fail because it won't match what's in the microsoft.com DNS entry. So, the key to DKIM is that you…

Hi Brian, Generally, you'll use both www. yourdomain.com and yourdomain.com for your store. You can use a sub-domain for your campaigns. For example, campaigns.yourdomain.com or c.yourdomain.com.…

Domains and DKIM apply to campaign and bulk email. June

Hi Nick, I noticed this question got by us in May. The Oracle driver and Putty encryption client still work with 2007.0 but we will end support of this connection in a future release (dates are undefined at this time). All existing ODBC customers will be notified well in advance of the change however so no immediate action…

Issue 115944 has been resolved and is scheduled for release January 12th. June

Enhancement #89421 has been released and closed. The Product Manager says you can accomplish this with a Published Saved Search. June
-
Enhancement #59983 Running searches on this data is currently supported and very powerful. You can share the search, set up alerts, define conditional highlights, etc. Please post if you have questions about how to accomplish this.
-
There are help topics in the NetSuite system that will help you add new employee records. Click the "Help" link in the upper right corner of NetSuite and search for the topic "Managing Employees".

Hi Staci, We have another enhancement that is more relevant to what you're trying to accomplish. Please vote for issue #20455.This enhancement will make it possible for you to sort by the summed amount.
-
Craig, You found an issue in our UI. "Relative" isn't currently supported in the Report Builder but will be in a future release. I can't provide an estimated release date at this time. The issue number is 116046. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Creating a report on a custom record is not currently supported. We have an enhancement tracking this request, #59983. You can search on custom records. For example, I have a custom record type for tracking warranties and I want to display a column total of one of the amount fields. I'll create a search where the amount is…

Henry, We plan to make custom records available through our Ad Hoc feature (New Report link on the Reports tab). This is currently scheduled for our next release which will most likely be released early next year.

Customer/Job: Address: State gives you the state stored in the Customer's record. It could be that some of your customers have more than one address or the address was displaying the Billing Address State, not the State from the shipping address. Sales: Address: Shipping State gives you the state the sales transaction…
-
There are fields in the customer record called "Default Billing" and "Default Shipping" you can use for this purpose. If you use these fields consistently for each customer record then you can apply filters to your sales reports to only include the default addresses. (i.e. Default Billing equal to True) Fields in the…
-
I wasn't clear. Add the column Customer/Job: Address Book: State then add a filter to make sure that only the Billing Address or Shipping Address is used. This will prevent duplicates from appearing in your report.

Hi, Were you clearing cache and cookies as well as opening a new browser session before revisiting the form? You are no longer a "unique" visitor to the form and some of the parameters may be remembered from your previous visit. June

I have some possible answers for you. There was an issue that was fixed this past weekend. Please try your searches again and let me know how it goes. By the way, the reason my searches are working while yours are appearing not to... I'm creating new records in 11.0 where your records were created prior to 11.0.
-
I suppose this means you're still having trouble bringing up the client record using the searches we discussed in prior messages. Support's response, although unrelated to your issue, is correct. If your client record was named 'Time 452 Media' then searching for "cli: 4" would not bring up the record. You would need to…

No need to give up laziness. Enter a % at the end of your search for an inventory number. For example, "000180%". Please let us know if you experience anything else with Global Search that you weren't expecting.
-
Global Search has always been a "Keyword Starts With" search.
-
Global Search is a keyword search. I created a customer with the name "Time 2 Run" and was able to bring up the record using Global Search in several ways. Here are a few of the searches I ran...
cus: 2 time 2 2 time ti 2
What were you entering for your search?
-
Kathy, I tried many of the same searches as I did with another poster, bacons, and I'm not experiencing any issues. I created an Inventory Item with the Item Name/Number of "000233" then typed the number into the Global Search field. My item came up fine. What do you mean by "going to the Lists doesn't always work either"?…
-
The issue related to having a "/" in the name will be fixed this evening. I assume you're using the prefix "cli:" because you've renamed the customer record "Client"? I created a customer with the name "Time 4 Media" and also renamed the "Customer" record to "Client". I then went through your list of searches and all of…

This can be achieved through Search. Create a Customer Search and add a filter called "Formula (Numeric)." Set the formula to {datecreated}-{customfieldname} where the value is greater than 0. Hope this helps.

The enhancement number is 76804.

This is not currently possible but we are adding enhancements with every version. Please file an enhancement so that we may include it in our product road map for future release. Thank you!
