  • I intend to start charging a subscription fee for Premium gated content in my portal. Presently I have Netsuite CRM, would be my solution to change to Netsuite ecommerce version? or Can I add the webstore module with its integrated payment system to my present Netsuite CRM? If these are not options, Can I integrate…
  • Do you mean contact Verisign or Paypal? or to contact the customer? your merchant - for example ours is wachovia.
  • Something changed last week in NS that screwed up our credit card processing. One, it redirected the credit card transactions to our bank account instead of undeposited funds. This we were able to fix by resetting all of the payment methods. Second, NS now defaults our credit card processor to an old, inactive one - maked…
  • it could be several things. one of which could be a limit on the amount you can charge in one month imposed by the merchant. I would call the merchant up (not the processor) and find out why its being refused. It probably is not a netsuite limitation. - at least to do with credit cards.
  • Can someone help me with this? We are switching our e-commerce store to NS and just hit major roadblock when setting up the CC process. We use Payflow Pro's gateway with Verisign as our CC processor. (1) When testing under the test mode, we keep getting an error message that says "An error occurred while processing the…
  • Guys, thanks for confirming. The issue tracking this work is 141797. Right now, only Mary has a case created against it. If this affects you, please log a case against it so we can better prioritize. I will update this thread if there is any update on scheduling the work. Thanks, Sean done - case 705072 - but why do we…
  • I have this in mine to. even with auth credit card set - in the customer center it does not auth the credit card. used to ages ago. But clearly a long outstanding bug.
  • I just talked to PayPal about getting our Sales Order Numbers into each transaction done with PayPal "website payments pro". They said that all you have to do is set up a custom field called "comment1" and populate it with our desired reference number (SO number in our case) send that through with each paypal transaction.…
  • In netsuite you can pay "n" number of invoices using 1 credit card.
  • Yes Nick is one of the more knowledgeable customers out there. Especially in the Netsuite space. His product offerings are very good, solid and combined with his ability - comes with a lot of value and professionalism.
  • Does anyone use Hackersafe services on their webstore? We are looking into using getting it for our webstore, but are wondering if Netsuite already provides this type of security protection i.e., do we really need it to ensure our site is scanned and free of "all known vulnerabilities"? Also, how does it gets implemented…
  • Long is correct. You need to check with your processor (or NOT should I say - you may open a can of worms up ). You categorically cannot charge before shipment unless its some sort of pre-negotiated contract/billing schedule you have. If its product..shipment really.
  • sure does work. Just tried it. You have to select a customer and then add in the credit card type from the cash sales screen - for the customer I mean. If you add in discover in lists/other lists - it will show the discover card in the list of drop down.
  • lists/other lists/payment methods - type is credit card.
  • I recently added an authorize.net account to our company in hopes of using it for our web store. Can somebody tell me if authorize.net is a functional service through netsuite? no - its not currently available but a common request. payflow pro is the one to use as a gateway.
  • thats wierd. we never use verisign support (in 4 years I have been on it) and never had to use their UI. We run all transactions and credits directly through netsuite.. We reconcile directly from our bank statements as opposed to verisign reports. Since the transaction fees in our case a taken separately from the…
  • Watch out running your personal credit card. I did this about 4 years ago and actually used a credit card that was tied to my name and also our corporate name. Its known as factoring - and they shut us down for 2 days - even though it was a $1.00 test ...
  • Not done one for a while. But I think so.
  • why not switch to verisign ?. your correct - its a horrible way of doing it - let alone potential for errors.
  • I have a client who wants to use online sales ordering and credit card paymentvia customer centre. In order to demo this working I need to enterdummy CC details - anyone got around this before? With the verisign processor you can run a test transaction. But easier just authorize a charge for $1.00 on your credit card but…
  • Hi Evan, I just had a customer come in with this situation. Since he was in the office I asked him to log on to his online account and show me the error and his sequence. 1. He logs in through "My Account" 2. Clicks on My Account 3. Click on Make Payment 4. Clicks the Invoices he wants to pay 5. Verifies the credit card…
  • Hi, We set up each of our stores as different department. For each department we setup a payment processor in NetSuite (they have their own merchant account, VeriSign login&password) When we want to bill a specific order (from Dept A), we can see that correct payment processor (Proc A) is selected automatically under the…
  • Im new to netsuite and had been told by my salesperson that I could just have the webstore capture the credit card information and process it manual through my current processor. That turns out not to be the case as netsuite does not pass on the security code and thus we cant process the card. Support tells me they had a…
  • Hey Ray.. You have to turn-on Level2 support by editing your Setup > Credit Card Processing menu and editing your gateway entries. There is a new checkbox for "Enable Level2 Support" (must be checked). And also you need to pick the correct authorization network in the drop down menu that your merchant account provider uses…
  • Imagine 2 or more online stores as a big mall where they sell different things. But each store has to be handled individually due to the nature of the items they sell. Before we switch to NetSuite, we used to have seperate (but identical) backends for each store. Order processing, charging etc. were repetative but seperate…
  • Yes, v11 supports Level2 commercial card data for M/C and Amex. It is current broken for Visa, but NS is trying to install a fix for Visa hopefully by mid-Aug. You need to make sure that you populate the "Customer Code" field on the transaction with some non-blank value. Ideally, the cardholder will give you a code that…
  • There are 2 pieces to this equasion (UK spelling!!) You need the internet gateway, and then you need the Visa/MasterCard acquiring processor. If you want to use the integrated CC processing built into NS, then you are limited to using one of the three internet gateways that NS has interfaces with. You can contact those…
  • Baruch & Brian, just like how Ray didn't know Level2 functionality was added to V.11 (and Ray is even one of your most knowledgeable consultants), I bet a lot of customers don't know either. You could run a query of all your customers with Verisign enabled, and then work with your contacts at Verisign to have Verisign give…
  • Try Costco's service (through Nova). Customer service is good, and rates reasonable. 1.99%, I think, for qualified card-not-present V & MC transactions. You'll always have higher rated for non-swiped transactions (greater risk of fraud). -Mark We use nova too.
  • One more question - if you dont have sales tax at all on your sales orders..ie checked box is set to false and false both on item and customer - then is zero still passed with level 2 for mastercard and amex ?.
