Yes, you are correct that it is populated, 99% of ours are blank because emails usually are assigned to a contact as we deal with people within a company.

Only the fax number is auto-populated, and only with the one number for the main customer. Because this is CRM, the box needs to contain a dropdown so that we can choose the "Contact" to get the fax (since many customers have many contacts and the contact has a different fax than the company because they work in the field…

Auto-populating is not the issue here and will not meet the intent of my request, only limit it to the current functionality. Because there are dozens of contacts we deal with within any given company, all of whom request quotes and issue purchase orders, there needs to be the ability to "select" which contact the quote…

We had this problem too. We use e-fax and it sent two page faxes out with all 1 page PDF's. We just made sure that all of our contact information was on our transaction forms and the contact was on the transaction form then shut off the cover page feature alltogether. Saves a bundle on fax fees.

I really don't know if it is possible for me to add to any of the sentiment already threaded. We dropped the useless service also and for the same reasons. Netsuite forces upgrades with cool new bells and whistles....all eye candy. Where is the substance? The fact still remains that the product produced is only 80% usable…

Bill, I have already placed a request for a fix with this in the support center...hopefully they will actually read it. We dropped all support some time ago, it just was not worth the $$ to get no results and a ton of bugs whenever they upgraded. I think that is where they are making their margin. It looks as though it is working for our custom forms as well as the standard ones.... If only thay would quit tinkering with it. It works one day, and then the next is it FUBAR.

Well, it has been about a freakin month now and NetSuite has finally replied to me. Why would anyone in their right mind want the employee name on the PO?
