We had to setup one color list and at the SKU level, we "selected" the colors that are available for that item. The problem with this method is if the color is discontinued, you have to touch every part which shows the color...a daunting task with lots of SKUs. Likewise, if a color is added, instead of just adding to the…

We have experienced the same problem and to-date, the only work-around we have come up with are "wedding date" or "weddingdate" or wedding_date" or "wedding.date" or "wedding date " or "wedding date:"... It works but the other problem is you can't remember which one is used for what...there is no "description" field or…

This works for IE but we still can't get the site centered in FireFox.
-
Agreed. We have found this to be a real problem.
-
Let's say you have the items as matrix and the manufacturer comes out with a new color...you have to add the color to the list and then go to each matrix item and "add items". Likewise, if a color is discontinued, you have to call up the exact sku and make it inactive.

I'd like to vote on it but it has taken over 2 minutes for the support center to load...the status indicator bar is only half way!!! URGH!
-
I have now voted!

I spoke this morning with Alex from Alexdesigns.com and he was able to walk me thru the issue. Very basic CSS stuff. All it required was for us to put a text-align:center; statement in our body section of the CSS and add: #outerwrapper { width:778px; margin:0 auto; text-align:center; position:relative; } #innerwrapper {…

After reading this post, I removed the custom tags we developed and instead used the related items on the shopping cart tab... Wow, a nice feature that I didn't know existed. Makes changes easier although I would like the idea of the items somehow correlating with the items in the shopping cart.
-
Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Check one of your related items (Part A) on the shopping cart page which is also related to another item (Part B). Go to the (Part B) item on your website, click (Part A) related item...it will take you to the shopping cart and not to Part A's product page. Am I missing something?…

Troy: I am intrigued at your item template where you show "View larger image"...can you give me some insight on how you did this? You can post a reply here or email me at mdaniel@ellaparkinc.com or call me toll-free 877.435.5272 and press option 111 Mike

I have found a very distrubing problem with displaying related items on the shopping cart tab... First a little background... After reading this thread, I too was trilled to be able to select items to appear on the shopping cart as upsells (vs the related item theme). We had been using custom tags to accomplish the same…

We have experienced intermittent problems with customers during the checkout process. System seems slow to load, still have thumbnails that have not been updated in the related items section even though the thumbnail was updated weeks ago, making customers click a shipping method to see the cost is silly, quantity pricing…

OK...here is what happened: When I commented out both...IE (centered), Firefox (Left-Justified) --> thus, no affect. When I commented only wrapper stmt...IE (centered), Firefox (Left-Justified) --> thus, no affect. When I commented only width stmt...IE (Left-Justified), Firefox (Centered) --> they flipped. When I…

Would love to see this work as well...
-
Would love to be able to do this!
-
OK...we have defined the width and centering... Are you saying you need to add the #outerwrapper { width:772px; margin:0 auto; text-align:left; position:relative; } to our CSS? What do you mean by the appropriate spot?
-
I might take the time to start a new thread, but I just discovered if you use CSV importing with Quantity Pricing Schedules, it changes the price but also wipes OUT the Schedule. Was forced to manually update 150 items...AARRGGHH...
-
I'm getting the same error message trying to vote for any enhancement.
-
Don't have any matrix items with using Quantity Pricing Schedules.
-
I would be interested in this functionality.

Here is how I work around this...very simple... Upload the photos to a folder in the images folder. Then use the "move" feature to actually move the images to the folder you want to "host" the files. Works immediately for us on our "enlarge images"...

For months I have read this post and never really understood the issue until we started putting images in the site folder and referencing them by name instead of the /core/media/media.nl?id=14073&c=455181&h=c6ae4dc9ba4be965d369... We now can't get images to show...we have tried the work-arounds...don't work... DJ: when do…

We have beat the 4000 character limit by using custom tags extensively throughout our site. It has multiple advantages because we can make one change in the tag and its affects are updated everywhere on the site. Since each tag is limited to 4K as well, you will have to split your code into multiple tags...

I just posted a new thread with this problem. It apparently is related to IE7 for us. I have a wedding gown showing a GUITAR. Here is the path... http://www.ellaparkbridal.com/core/media/media.nl?id=11993&c=455181&h=5617c83de83b0bc15c0b The url is: http://www.ellaparkbridal.com/Store/Spring-Bridal-Gowns Notice the GUITAR…

We have now successfully added this to our site. Thanks for the help!
-
Yes I did...we need the control back...I'm sure this is a bug and should be reported as such...
-
Thanks DJ...that was easy!

DJ: I am trying to get this to work in a test item template. I copied the contents of the <html>...</html> code on the previous page of this thread into a custom tag & referenced it in my item template...but I don't understand the reference to the following: <form method='post'…

With advanced customization, we have it posted to our website theme, "addition to head" and it works just fine. As far as funnels and the like, good luck...I gave it a small try and never accomplished anything. As far as the conversion tracking code for Google, MSN, Overture, they go in the Setup Website > Checkout Tab >…
